Madyibi presented a thoughtful vision to improve the one-story houses known as “Maleanes” by creating a thermal skin out of rammed earth. This “house within a house,” to quote Madyibi, anticipates the climate concerns of future generations. We enjoyed working with her and look forward to hearing more about her projects as she grows in her profession. Congratulations to the winners and finalists!
